Roman Rotenberg speaks after playing Severstal in Cherepovets

HC SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg:
"Both teams displayed exciting ice hockey. Unfortunately, we lost our concentration for one minute and conceded two goals during that short space of time. After our time-out, the players responded well and created plenty of excellent opportunities, but Konstantin Shostak refused to be beaten.
"Cherepovets are a really quick team, they play at a very high pace and were fresher than us having been able to rest for this match. We, on the other hand, were coming off the back of a challenging game in Belarus. Despite the result and the conceded goals, there were a lot of positives which we can take away with us.
"Did we swap Artemiy Pleshkov for Nikita Serebryakov too early? No, we wanted to shake the team up. We need all of our goalkeepers, we're looking forward to when Pavel Moisevich will be back from injury too.
"Why are matches between SKA and Severstal so exciting? The teams are playing entertaining ice hockey with an emphasis on attack. We know Severstal head coach Andrei Kozyrev well, he used to work with us in Saint Petersburg. We know have to prepare for a challenge in Yaroslavl on Monday."
