Roman Rotenberg speaks after playing Dynamo in Moscow

HC SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg:
"I would like to congratulate Dynamo with their victory and their 25th anniversary of winning the Russian Championship.
"The injury sustained by Danila Galenyuk, who is celebrating his 25th birthday today, affected our performance. His head crashed against the back of a Dynamo player, it was an unfortunate incident which has left Danila with concussion. We committed mistakes which resulted in this loss.
"We wasted clear opportunities in the second period. The same can be said for the third frame, especially when we were playing 6-on-4. We needed to take advantage of our chances and compete with team discipline. Evgeny Kuznetsov's penalty? His emotions need to be controlled. To be honest, I cannot remember when a SKA player previously took a penalty while playing 6-on-4. I was really frustrated with this. We don't need silly penalties, the players don't have the right to commit such unnecessary fouls. We have consequently introduced a fine system with regard to this issue. The playoffs aren't far away, we can't take such daft penalties during the decisive games of the campaign.
"I'm disappointed that we only scored one goal, we're better than that. Nevertheless, I would like to point Yegor Zavragin out today, he was excellent when he came on and played with calmness. Ivan Demidov was in the fourth line with Sergei Andronov and Pavel Dedunov? If you watched the game, then you would have noticed that he only played in that particular line for three shifts. Ivan subsequently played in our first line with Evgeny Kuznetsov and Zakhar Bardakov.
"We were lacking aggressiveness today, the opponents were better than us in this aspect. We have to give Dynamo credit, they were solid in defence and their goalkeeper was great."
