HC SKA coach Yuri Babenko:

"As a result of the break in play, we had lost our rhythm. Nevertheless, we found strength within ourselves to take advantage of our opportunities in the third period and emerge victorious."

Why the first period was underwhelming...

"Before the game, we had noted that these opponents are good at taking advantage of mistakes. We wanted to hold the puck and limit our errors to a minimum. We struggled in this aspect in the second period too, but the third was better."

What's changed for Nikolai Goldobin...

"It would be better to ask him that question. All players are important for us, and when he's in good form the team benefits. He's here to help the group."

If Trevor Murphy is out for the season...

"We don't know yet. Naturally, we're hoping for the best. Good teams shouldn't depend on one single player, so we will try to emerge from this situation with the least amount of damage possible."

HC Shanghai Dragons head coach Gerard Gallant:

"I liked how we played for the maiden two periods. However, we subsequently lost concentration - myself included. Overall, though, if we look at the game as a whole, then I think that we played well. It's a shame that we lost, but I'm happy with the performance."
