Pavel Datsyuk: "It's tough to play on the road, we're satisfied with the result"

- Before the third period, you were 2:0 up. What happened after that?

- We conceded two goals shorthanded. However, despite that, I think that we played well in the first, second and third periods. We managed to gain a 2:0 lead before Avangard equalised on the powerplay. It's hard to play on the road when you have a strong opponent and the fans cheer on their team. We're satisfied with the result.

- In Saint Petersburg, you don't usually take part in penalty shootouts. Why did you change your mind today?

- I felt more confident, so I decided to step up. Everything went well, thank goodness.
