Roman Rotenberg speaks after beating Amur in Khabarovsk

HC SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg:
"Both teams displayed their strengths and provided the fans with an exciting game. I would like to thank our guys for their performance today, they showed determination and were clinical in front of goal. Unfortunately, despite having adapted to the local conditions and time difference, we now have to travel back to Saint Petersburg and prepare for our upcoming games. We'll take our three points from this trip and fly home.
"In my opinion, this was the most exciting game between SKA and Amur in Khabarovsk in history. Thank you to the opponents and the supporters inside the arena. We didn't take any penalties? Our players competed with discipline and this consequently allowed us to win. The same will be required when the playoffs begin; any foul can prove decisive.
"Ivan Demidov and Pavel Dedunov weren't on the ice for a single second today? It was a tough match for us, we had already made some changes during the game. All of the guys will receive a chance in our next match. By the way, I would like to congratulate Stanislav Berezhnoi with his KHL debut, he made some important saves for us after being introduced in the third period."
