HC SKA head coach Oleg Znarok:

- We weren't in the game during the first period. Afterwards, we created a lot of chances, but we needed to score on them. Our forwards couldn't hit the net. Also, our discipline let us down. We'll prepare for the next match.

HC Medvescak Zagreb head coach Gordie Dwyer:

- I'm happy with how we played against what everyone considers one of the best teams in the league. We needed a strong start. I'm satisfied with how my team came out to play, we were excellent in the first period. I thought we had some chances in the second, and in the third period, we were able to hold on to the tied score. Saint Petersburg came hard at us, but it was a gusty effort from our group, we were able to score that big goal in overtime. Tomas Mertl and Goran Bezina scored their first goals, while Shaone Morisonn did well in the attack too. We got contributions from everyone tonight, it was nice to see our special teams perform so well. These are a big two points for our hockey team.
