HC SKA head coach Andrei Nazarov:

- I want to congratulate my guys with the win. We knew that it would be a tough game, Medvescak always play hard at home even if they lost their previous match. We prepared for this fixture, some things worked out, but I am satisfied with a good away win.

HC Medvescak Zagreb head coach Gordie Dwyer:

- I am certainly happy with the bounce back performance today. I thought that our team was ready to play and that we played extremely hard. We stuck to how we wanted to execute our game plan, we had great puck possession in the offensive zone, and I thought that defensively we were solid. At the end of the day I thought that we deserved a little bit better, but we knew what to expect - Saint Petersburg is one of the top teams in the league, and they are a successful organisation and successful team. We knew that we had to be at our best to compete tonight, and it was a bounce back game and a real test of our team. I liked the way that our team responded. Unfortunately we fell a little short on the scoreboard, bit at the end of the day sometimes it's not about the fact that you lost. I liked the way that our team competed, and it's something for us to build on moving forward. I would like to congratulate Saint Petersburg for winning today, and other than that I am happy with my team and we will continue moving forward.
