Harijs Vitolins: "All teams play hard against us"

9 November 2016

- How is the team after the national team break?

- Everything should be fine. However, the players have said that they're a bit tired, they ran a lot at the training camp. We want them to play consistently up until the next Euro Hockey Tour stage.

- You didn't give the national team players a break.

- They had one day to rest. Maybe in some games they will sit on the bench more.

- SKA have 11 victories in a row. Are you ready for 12?

- That puts a little bit of pressure on us, we tried not to pay attention to this during the break. We know that any opponent will play hard against us, we have to be ready for all teams, may it be Dynamo or Vityaz.

- Your expectations from today's game?

- All teams want to prove that they can play on our level. Metallurg Magnitogorsk, the reigning champions, have the same problem - opposing teams have a special mindset. We're ready though.

- Can you point out some of Dynamo's strengths?

- They have a team that skates well, they like to move. Dynamo have a lot of plus points.

- You and Oleg Znarok worked for a long time with Dynamo.

- We only spent one year at the VTB Ice Palace. We have great memories, but that time is in the past, we are fully concentrated on SKA.
