Ivan Vydrenkov speaks after defeating Lada in Saint Petersburg

HC SKA defenseman Ivan Vydrenkov:

"The result was achieved in the first period? Our powerplay was excellent, and we took advantage of the chances which we created. Did Lada surprise us at all? No. We had the game under control, but we will soon play against them again so we have to be prepared.

"Taking into account their coach, do Tolyatti play in a North American style? They're physical. They land hits both when they need to, and when they don't. We regained control after we conceded in the second stanza.

"Nikita Dishkovsky? I'm really happy for him! The whole team congratulated him in the dressing room. He feels the coach's belief and is consequently performing excellently."
