Yegor Yakovlev: "The game depended on one goal"

- Is it nice to beat the Eastern Conference leaders at their own home?

- Of course it is, but the score doesn't reflect how the match begun. The game depended on one goal, and it's good that we scored it and eventually won.

- It seemed as though SKA stuck to the game plan and prevented Avangard's leaders from causing problems.

- We're getting used to our new system, we're beginning to understand what the head coach demands from us. Today we played well in defence.

- What does the new system consist of?

- We try to close the opponents down more quickly, play more compact.

- The deciding goal was scored after you broke forward.

- We are still trying to play in attack with defencemen joining the rush. I know that Vadim Shipachyov can give good passes. It's good that the puck fell back to Evgeny Dadonov's stick.
