Yakov Trenin and Anton Burdasov speak after beating Sochi

10 October 2020

SKA forward Anton Burdasov:

- It was a good game, we competed in an active manner and Sochi played in an intense style. It's important that we won, as it turned out to be a tense ending to the match after conceding goals. All's well that ends well.

- In terms of percentages, how ready are you physically after recently returning to the action?

- It's normal that the break has taken its toll. I don't want to make excuses, though, if we are on the ice we must play at our best. I think that physically I am 60-70% ready.

SKA forward Yakov Trenin:

- I agree with Anton, it was a tense match, the opponents applied pressure on us throughout the entire game. Nevertheless, we defended solidly and won. The turning point was when we scored the second goal on the powerplay. I feel that I have 100% settled into the team.

- You have swapped places with Linden Vey on the powerplay.

- I blocked the goalkeeper's view today for Anton's goal. In previous games, we couldn't even keep the puck in the opponent's zone. It's good that today we managed to score on the man advantage.
