HC SKA head coach Valeri Bragin:

- We had prepared very seriously for this match. This has been a very busy period for us, we've had lots of games in a short space of time. We analysed our home match against Riga. The first period was good, we took a 3:0 lead and we then did well in the second. We lost our concentration in the third stanza, so the closing stages were a bit tense. However, overall the guys did a good job.

HC Dinamo Riga head coach Peteris Skudra:

- It was a tough first period, SKA converted on all of their opportunities to score. It was difficult to accept the situation in the dressing room, we hadn't played badly but 0:3 is a big blow. We tried to turn the game around, and we were better in the third period. Nevertheless, the quality of our final pass and shots was poor today, you have to produce one of your best performances when playing against such a strong team and we certainly didn't do that today.
