Dynamo Moscow - SKA. Game Three

Today on the 15th of March, the KHL Gagarin Cup second round playoff series between SKA and Dynamo Moscow will move to the Russian capital. It really does promise to be a tight, hard fought series, as after two it's all tied up at 1:1.

It turned out to be a thrilling opener in Saint Petersburg on Friday, as our team came back from behind twice to take it 4:3 in overtime. Yevgeni Ketov and Patrick Thoresen responded to two Dynamo marker, and just 49 seconds into the extra frame Artemiy Panarin struck the winner.

If there was high elation after that game, it was the complete opposite after Game Two. SKA had the initiative for just about the whole match, but due to some defensive errors Dynamo ended up winning 4:1 in Saint Petersburg. Our team did score through Vadim Shipachyov, however that was as good as it got.

Elsewhere in the KHL, CSKA Moscow are whitewashing Jokerit Helsinki so far 2:0 after the first two matches. In the East Ak Bars and Avangard are level at 1:1, while HC Sibir Novosibirsk are taking it to reigning champions Metallurg Magnitogorsk 2:0.
