HC SKA head coach Ilya Vorobyov:

- Happy New Year. Thank you to the fans who travelled here. It was a good, tough game and the opponents defended well. It's good that we broke through.

- The last time when SKA beat HC Dinamo in Minsk was four years ago.

- I was told this when travelling here. Dinamo defended solidly, but we didn't make many mistakes and eventually scored our goals.

- How important is it to compete in the special Leningrad jerseys?

- Yes, it's very important, and I thank the guys for their efforts today.

HC Dinamo Minsk head coach Andrei Sidorenko:

- I also wish you all a Happy New Year. We defended well, competed with patience, and I told the players that they needed to wait and search for their scoring opportunities. Unfortunately, we made big mistakes, and took cheap penalties in the attacking zone. We did not attack well.

- You aren't happy with the foreign players.

- They are taking penalties and making mistakes. Foreigners should increase the quality of our performance.

- Dinamo Minsk took lots of penalties in the third period.

- Our poor discipline had its say. Because of playing in defence for the entire game, we lost some energy. Temmu Pulkkinen's penalty in the last minute should never have been taken.

- What needs to be done to improve the powerplay?

- We need to play in a more simple manner, not make cheap mistakes and take more shots.

- Was the penalty taken by Quinton Howden at the end of the second period key?

- There was a fight and both players were handed penalties. There wasn't anything wrong there.

- How satisfied are you with David Booth?

- I have already said what I think about the foreign players.

- Why was Alexei Tereshchenko the captain?

- He leads the team. Despite his age, 37 years, he is the leader on the ice for us. He supported the rest of the guys.

- Did Dinamo Minsk stick to the game plan?

- There were problems with our discipline, and on the powerplay, we failed to take advantage of the chances which came our way. The final pass and shot were lacking.

- When will Evgeny Kovyrshin return?

- He is training at the moment and should play in the next match. We are lacking a creative player.
