Dinamo Minsk - SKA. Match day

SKA have travelled to Belarus for a KHL match against HC Dinamo in Minsk, the Belarusian capital.

It's been a strange campaign for Dinamo so far, with the Belarusians lacking real consistency. Often trading wins and losses, the Minsk outfit currently occupy fifth place of the Western Conference, holding two games in hand over close rivals Dynamo Moscow and Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. They have some big names on their roster too, in particular goaltender Ben Scrivens. The one time Canadian international has an impressive seven shutouts to his name, but fluctuating form has left him with only a 91.9 saves percentage. In attack, Dinamo rely largely on fellow Canadian forward Matt Ellison, who is their top scorer with 38 points (13+25).

Losing two consecutive games to Ak Bars Kazan (3:4 SO) and Lokomotiv Yaroslavl (1:2), SKA's lead at the top of the table has decreased to three points. Nevertheless, nearest challengers CSKA Moscow have played two games less. Ilya Kovalchuk, owning 57 points, has at least a point from fourteen of the past fifteen fixtures.

These two teams have already met this season, with SKA thrashing Dinamo 6:2 in Saint Petersburg.

The Dinamo Minsk - SKA match will begin at 19.30 local time in Minsk, Belarus. Life78 and KHL TV will both broadcast live, and you can follow events live on our official Twitter account.
