Dinamo Minsk - SKA. Match day

Today SKA will take on Dinamo Minsk in Belarus. This will be the fourth and final meeting between these two sides this KHL regular season, with SKA winning 5:2 and 3:2 in Saint Petersburg while falling in Minsk 1:2 on penalty shots.

Our opponents today Dinamo Minsk have made up for missing the playoffs in the past two campaigns, as in fifth place of the Western Conference on 94 points they are guaranteed to make this post-season. During last summer Dinamo had an influx of ex Medvescak players, and they have all contributed to their success heavily, with all four forwards having at least 40 points. Indeed Matt Ellison is first with 56 (24+32), with Charles Linglet not far behind on 54 (19+35). American Nick Bailen is their most productive defenceman with 35 points (11+24), while Dmitry Milchakov is their top performing goaltender with a saves percentage of 93.2%.

SKA are in good form at the moment, having won four out of the past five games. The previous victory, 2:1 on penalty shots against Jokerit, has taken our team up to 120 points and nearing on to securing that second spot in the conference. Top scorer Artemiy Panarin is out injured however, and his line partners Yevgeni Dadonov and Vadim Shipachyov will have to step up to the mark without him.

The Dinamo Minsk - SKA match will begin at 19.00 Moscow time. 100 TV will broadcast the game live, while you can keep up to date with events either by following our matchcentre, or our twitter account.
