Brendan Leipsic: "I'm very honoured to have gained Russian citizenship"

HC SKA forward Brendan Leipsic:

- I'm very honoured to have gained Russian citizenship. I've played here for four years now, I feel comfortable in Russia and the country gave me the opportunity to continue my ice hockey career. Obviously I'm very thankful to everyone who made this happen, especially Roman Rotenberg. I told my family and friends about the news, but they're only just waking up. I'm sure my phone will start ringing shortly! I really enjoy Russian culture, I've had fun exploring Saint Petersburg and looking around the museums. It's been pretty easy for my family and I to adjust to the way of life here. Hopefully, there are many more years of ice hockey to come for me in Russia!
