SKA have now earned 50 victories in overtime in the KHL. 35 of them have been tallied in the regular season, with the remainding 15 arriving in the Gagarin Cup playoffs. Ak Bars Kazan and Avangard Omsk are the only two other league clubs to have registered a minimum of 50 OT wins.

This was SKA's 13th consecutive home triumph over Lada Tolyatti. Interestingly, this particular winning streak initially began in the Russian Super League!

Nikolai Goldobin now boasts 300 (128+172) points from 371 KHL appearances, with 23 (8+15) of them having been gained across 32 SKA games. Furthermore, this was the first time when the forward picked up four (2+2) points in one single match for SKA and scored in overtime with our team!

Fellow forward Rocco Grimaldi has recorded at least one point in five successive SKA games for the first time, having contributed with seven (3+4) in that period.

This marked the first occasion when forward Brendan Leipsic dished out three assists in one competitive game.
