HC SKA interim head coach Pyotr Vorobyov:

- I congratulate Avtomobilist with their win, the probably deserved it more than us. In the past two matches, we were sloppy during the first period, but here, the second stanza went wrong. We're lacking stability. Special teams decided this match.

- Your leading players were poor. Vyacheslav Voynov and Steve Moses made big mistakes, while Ilya Kovalchuk wasn't visable on the ice.

- They all play in different lines. I wouldn't say that they are tired, sometimes things don't go your way. The opponents didn't let them play.

- Why was Alexander Khokhlachyov not included in the line-up?

- We picked other players.

HC Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg head coach Andrei Razin:

- It was a good game with a top opponent. It's always nice to play against a strong team in front of a sold out arena. It's a shame that we couldn't hold on in the third period, but a win is a win.

- Are you satisfied with how Anatoly Golyshev, Petr Koukal and Alexei Simakov played together?

- They scored, so that means that they did a good job. We're not CSKA from the 1980's, we have to change our lines up sometimes.

- During the penalty shootout, the puck bounced around the ice. What happened?

- What can I do? The zamboni guys can't do their job. For the third home shootout, the ice was poor in front of the opponent's net. They obviously are not capable of preparing the ice.

- Why did Petr Koukal go last in the shootout? He scored in the previous match.

- Last season, he netted 50% of his penalty shots, so given the fact that he scored in the last game, I thought that he would miss today.
