- I think that both sides played at a high tempo.

- I congratulate SKA with their victory. It really was a good ice hockey game. We had problems in the second period, but we kept on going in the third. We'll move on.

- Apart from wanting to win, what was your game plan? And how did you take advantage of your powerplays?

- SKA aren't just the league leaders, they are the championship's flagship team. I didn't need to give the players extra motivation. We prepared for this match and wanted to take points. Yes, we managed to score on one powerplay.

- There was an incident when SKA had two or three good shifts in our zone. We committed icing, and I decided to take a timeout in order to give the players a short rest. Overtime was great, but we have to score on our chances.

- How are you working over Avangard's discipline and penalty kill?

- We're working on it, just like any other team. You can't take penalties in the attacking zone or at neutral ice.

- Before puck drop, did you think that it would go to penalty shots? Nikita Gusev always shoots the same way.

- They have enough quality players apart from Nikita Gusev. We knew what to expect, but it doesn't always go the way we want it to.
