Anton Burdasov: "My goals are down to the efforts of my teammates"

HC SKA forward Anton Burdasov:

- It was a good game against a strong opponent. Traktor are one of the KHL leaders, all of us tried our best on the ice. This is why we achieved the positive result.

- You often score in Chelyabinsk. What can you say about your performance today?

- My goals are down to the efforts of my teammates in my line, and that goes for any of us. It just so happened today that I completed two of our plays.

- When you play here, do you feel a special energy? You were born in Chelyabinsk.

- It really was a celebratory atmosphere here today, people in Chelyabinsk love ice hockey and they really enjoy supporting their team. I loved the atmosphere this evening.

- Did you expect to be called up to the Russian national team for the Channel One Cup?

- The national team has people who decide the squad, it's their job. The main thing for me is to focus on my team. Everyone knows that we have injury problems at the moment, five leading defensemen are on the sidelines. The guys who have replaced them are doing an excellent job, they're the future of SKA. We continue working.

- You waved to someone in the stands after your second goal.

- Well, I am from Chelyabinsk! I had around 10 family members - including my parents - at the stadium today, and I saw a banner with the name of my local region too. It was great playing here in this match.
