Amur - SKA. Match day

Having beaten Kunlun Red Star 5:3 in China, SKA have returned to Russia for a match against HC Amur in Khabarovsk.
Traditionally, Amur have never been among the KHL heavyweights, last making the Gagarin Cup playoffs back in 2012. Unfortunately for Amur, it's been a similar story this season. Their lack of goalscoring potency is proving costly, as having netted a mere 60 goals in 37 matches, they are indeed the KHL's lowest scorers. They currently occupy 13th place of the Eastern Conference, ten points adrift of a post-season berth. Goaltender Juha Metsola, holding an impressive 93.1 saves percentage, has been a rock for them at the back, while ex SKA player Teemu Ramstedt is among their top scorers with 19 points (6+13).
Just to add to the plot, SKA have just signed Amur defenseman Artyom Zub. Boasting 160 goals this year, our team lead the way in the standings, eight points clear of second placed CSKA Moscow.
These two teams have already met this season, with SKA thrashing Amur 4:1 at home.
The Amur - SKA match will begin at 10.00 Moscow time inside the Platinum Arena, Khabarovsk. Life78 and KHL TV HD will broadcast live, and you can follow events on our official Twitter account.
