Alexei Kruchinin: "You have to be patient when the puck doesn't go in"

- Impressions from the victory?
- The atmosphere is great within the group after we had waited so long to win a match. Nevertheless, the next game is coming, so we can't relax.
- What conclusions were made?
- We need to be more patient, not give the opponents cheap opportunities and make less mistakes. In the third period, when we were leading 3:0, we started to forget about defence and we immediately conceded a goal. It's easier when you don't commit errors in your own zone.
- Do you like playing in one line with Alexei Byvaltsev and Oleg Li?
- Yes. I have a huge desire to play, especially given that I didn't participate in the previous KHL matches. It's a lot better than sitting in the stands.
- Why didn't you keep a clean sheet?
- We conceded a goal when we were thinking more about attack. It's a shame because Igor Shestyorkin deserved a shutout.
- How is it playing in the fourth line?
- It doesn't matter which line I'm competing in. We have tactics which should be followed.
- The puck simply isn't going over the line.
- You have to be patient. Sometimes, you can score with closed eyes, and then on other occasions you can't hit the empty net. The team won so I can be happy.
- How many goals have you scored with your eyes closed?
- 100!
- How difficult is it to keep training when not included in the line-up?
- It's tough and with my previous club I played in every match. Here, we have almost 30 players and all of them are strong, so these things happen. I'm not giving up and the season has only just started.
