HC SKA head coach Oleg Znarok:

- When you create so many goalscoring chances, you need to seal the victory at the start of the match. Their goalkeeper performed well. It was unusual playing on the smaller ice, the corners aren't very big and and didn't manage to fully adapt. It's hard to keep travelling on planes, almost all of the guys made trip immediately after playing for their national teams.

- Are you satisfied with Vadim Shipachyov's performance with Nikita Gusev and Sergei Plotnikov?

- It's too early to analyse his physical condition. He had a lot of emotions today, let's see what happens in future matches. We know Vadim well, we expected him to perform like this. Sergei Plotnikov is playing with them at the moment.

HC Admiral Vladivostok head coach Frederik Stillman:

- I'm happy with the work ethic, the guys worked really hard. It was a close game until the end, and we put some pressure on them to make it 1:1. This is positive, because we played against a really good team today. I don't know if we were closing to getting one point, but at least we had some chances. There was the powerplay, and had possibilities to equalise. We showed that we have good fighting spirit.

- Why didn't you pull the goaltender when on the late powerplay?

- The plan was to play 5 on 4 for one minute, and pull the goalkeeper during the last two minutes.
