SKA up to sixth with confident Admiral beating!
SKA up to sixth with confident Admiral beating!

It was a successful Tuesday evening for SKA, who calmly defeated Admiral Vladivostok 4:2 at the Ice Palace to move up to sixth spot of the Western Conference!
Furthermore, as a consequence of this result, SKA have officially qualified for the upcoming 2025/2026 KHL Gagarin Cup playoffs.
The game was in the balance following a tense first period, but our players subsequently took a firm grip of proceedings to comfortably ease to victory.
Brennan Menell initially opened the scoring in the very first minute, catching Admiral goalkeeper Ivan Kulbakov cold from distance with a seemingly harmless effort.
Nevertheless, Admiral responded 12 minutes later, with Kyle Olson tipping beyond Artemiy Pleshkov.
SKA did then begin to move through the gears.
And again we struck gold in the maiden minute of a period, as Sergei Plotnikov wristed powerfully over Kulbakov’s glove moments after the first break.
The third frame saw SKA well and truly put the game to bed.
Scott Wilson registered his first SKA goal when powering clean through, before Matvei Korotky completed a flowing play on the PP at point-blank range.
Nikita Tertyshny did grab a second for Vladivostok in the closing stages, but the match was already done as a contest.
SKA will now prepare to host Dynamo Moscow in Saint Petersburg on Thursday. Puck-drop is scheduled for 19:30 local time.
