Dishkovsky at the double as SKA blow CSKA away!

21 February 2026

Aided by Nikita Dishkovsky’s brace and a second consecutive shutout from Sergei Ivanov, SKA breezed past arch-rivals CSKA Moscow 3:0 at the Ice Palace!

In control of the game throughout, our players made short work of their illustrious opponents, scoring once in all three periods and keeping the Muscovites at bay largely thanks to superb goalkeeping provided by Ivanov.

The in-form Dishkovsky made the breakthrough midway through the first frame shorthanded.

Catching ex-SKA goaltender Alexander Samonov out of position, the 23-year-old forward lashed a firm attempt into the unguarded left corner.

He then doubled his and SKA’s money in the 26th minute.

Having been tripped by Vitaly Abramov when clean through, Dishkovsky stepped up to take the ensuing penalty shot and converted with aplomb.

Interestingly, Dishkovsky had drawn that CSKA foul while shorthanded again!

SKA well and truly sealed the deal with only 10 minutes remaining in regulation time.

Unmarked on the right flank, Rocco Grimaldi pounced on a loose CSKA pass and rifled a snappy effort over Samonov.

SKA will now prepare to host Admiral Vladivostok in Saint Petersburg on Tuesday. Puck-drop is scheduled for 19:30 local time.

Match protocol:
