Vasily Podkolzin: "Both teams competed with aggression and speed"

HC SKA forward Vasily Podkolzin:

- It felt like a playoff match today. The final straight of the KHL regular season is upon us, everyone is fighting for a higher ranking in the standings. Both teams competed with aggression and speed. It's great that we won!

- Lokomotiv were quick when attacking today. How difficult is it competing against such opponents?

- Yes, it was tough for us, they were quick moving out from defence to attack. We tried to keep it simple in order to avoid their counter-attacks, but we didn't cope with the challenge in the first period. They had a few 2-on-1 opportunities. Nevertheless, it is good that we scored in overtime to claim the victory.
