CSKA - SKA. Game Five

CSKA - SKA. Game Five

3 April 2015

SKA will play against HC CSKA Moscow away today in the fifth match of this KHL Gagarin Cup Western Conference final.

It has been a tough series so far, as CSKA currently lead 3:1 with SKA not having any more room left for error. After winning their first two home games 3:0 and 3:2 after overtime CSKA then took the third match in Saint Petersburg 3:1, and were full of confidence going into the fourth. SKA are made of sterner stuff though, and came roaring back with a stunning 4:1 victory in a dominant performance. The second line practically won the match by themselves scoring three of the four goals, as Yevgeni Dadonov, Vadim Shipachyov and Artemiy Panarin picked up a combined total of nine points (3+6). CSKA's first line consisting of Alexander Radulov, Igor Grigorenko and Roman Lyubimov has been the most dangerous in the series so far, and our back line will have to tighten up against them even more.

As the score in the series is 1:3 in CSKA's favour, our team has to win in order to take the series back to Saint Petersburg on Sunday.

The CSKA - SKA match will begin at 19.30 local time inside the LDS CSKA, Moscow. 100 TV, KHL TV, KHL TV HD and Rossiya 2 will all broadcast the game live, whereas you can keep up to date with events by following either our matchcentre, or our official twitter account.
