CSKA - SKA. Match day

SKA will complete their three game capital away series with a match against HC CSKA in Moscow.

Today's game promises to be an absolute thriller, with two of the KHL's biggest clubs clashing in the Russian capital. After last season's epic conference final playoff series (SKA won 4:3) these matches will always be special, and two games have already been played against each other this season - CSKA took a 4:3 overtime win away from Saint Petersburg, before our team got revenge with a 2:1 victory in Moscow. Just like last season CSKA have been playing excellently during this regular season, and after defeating HC Lokomotiv Yaroslavl 4:0 two days ago they occupy third place of the Western Conference with 96 points. Forward Alexander Radulov, their main star, is their top scorer with 49 points (18+31), and young goaltender Ilya Sorokin already has eight shutouts this campaign along with a 95.6% saves percentage.

After losing heavily to Dynamo 1:5 on Monday SKA got back on track in Podolsk, defeating HC Vityaz 4:2 in the Moscow suburbs. Goaltender Igor Shestyorkin made 22 saves in that match, while forward Sergei Shirokov netted his first SKA goal. As a result of that victory, the team still sits in sixth place of the conference.

The CSKA - SKA match will take place at 17.00 local time inside the LDS CSKA, Moscow. Life78 and KHL TV will both broadcast the game live, and you can keep up to date with events either by following our online matchcentre or our official Twitter account.
