Torpedo - SKA. Press-conference

HC SKA head coach Ilya Vorobyov:

- I congratulate Torpedo with their victory. They refused to lose and blocked a lot of shots. Torpedo did everything in order to win.

- In the first period, everything went SKA's way. What happened in the remaining 40 minutes? Will there be changes to the line-up and special teams units?

- Yes, there will be changes. Overall, we registered lots of shots on goal, however, we struggled to take advantage of them. Torpedo played very well too.

- Did the changes to the squad after the triumph in Kazan take their toll?

- Torpedo's performance made the difference.

HC Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod head coach David Nemirovsky:

- After the first period when the score was 0:2, I told the players to keep believing. I saw in their eyes that they still believed and I knew that we had a chance to save this match. The guys fought until the end and played as a united team.

- Daniil Ilin's line played against Pavel Datsyuk and Nikita Gusev. Was this your plan?

- We made that decision during the course of the game. They were keeping the puck and that's important against the likes of Pavel Datsyuk.
