SKA have qualified for the 2018/2019 KHL Gagarin Cup playoffs

In defeating HC Lokomotiv 4:0 in Yaroslavl, SKA Hockey Club now boast 76 points in the 2018/2019 KHL regular season and have qualified for the Gagarin Cup playoffs. The difference between SKA and ninth placed Dinamo Riga is now 30 points. The Latvians have 15 matches left in the regular season and can gain 30 points, however, on head-to-head record, SKA are stronger.

HC CSKA Moscow and Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg had earlier made the KHL Gagarin Cup playoffs.
