HC CSKA Moscow head coach Dmitry Kvartalnov:

- We didn't score. There were a few half chances, but nothing more than that. I didn't like how we played in the first period, we were too respectful of SKA's big players. You can respect them in the bar or anywhere else, however on the ice, you need to fight. Afterwards, it was a level game, but it's tough when you don't score.

HC SKA head coach Oleg Znarok:

- Both goaltenders played really well. It's pleasing, that they are players who can play for the Russian national team. Both teams had enough chances to score. It's good that we managed to hold on to the score in order to win.

- How did you keep players like Ilya Kovalchuk playing defensive ice hockey?

- Well, we can. We covered our game plan in the break. There were no problems.

- Are there still difficulties in defence?

- There are always matters to discuss after every game. Any player can make a mistake, it can depend on tiredness or other issues. However, the fact that we didn't concede shows that we did a good job in defence.

- When will we see Patrik Hersley?

- I haven't even seen him yet.

- Can Igor Shestyorkin become SKA's number one goaltender?

- It depends on him.

- Talk about your powerplay.

- It's a difficult question. Today, both sides had powerplays, but we did a good job shorthanded.
