SKA - CSKA. Press-conference

HC SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg:

- This is an important victory for us, CSKA are a strong, organised side. Our changes made the decisive differences. In order for us to compete shorthanded with lesser regularity, we need to compete with more discipline and not give the referees an excuse to give us penalties. Furthermore, we need to start taking advantage of our opportunities. We now have to rest and prepare to face Lokomotiv in Yaroslavl, another solid side.

HC CSKA Moscow head coach Sergei Fyodorov:

- I would like to congratulate SKA with their win, they produced a strong performance. I can't say that we didn't encounter any real problems, but we weren't consistent enough across the 60 minutes. We failed to use our chances and didn't put enough combination plays together, we competed in too much of a simple manner.

HC SKA forward Zakhar Bardakov:

- We moved the puck well. This is a real team win, we worked hard as a group and achieved an important result.

HC SKA forward Marat Khairullin:

- We started well. Of course, our subsequent penalty did affect the flow of the game, but overall I thought that we competed with the initiative. It's great that we managed to successfully see the match out.
