2 March 2018

SKA recorded 47 victories and 138 points in the 2017/2018 KHL regular season, beating the previous best of 46 wins and 137 points. However, this campaign, our players only required 56 matches to set that record and not 60.

SKA became the first KHL club to take 90 shutouts in the league. CSKA Moscow are in second place with 84. 71 of SKA's shutouts have come in the regular season, with the remaining 19 in the Gagarin Cup playoffs.

This is the third time in the KHL when SKA have won 1:0 on penalty shots in the KHL. The previous two occasions came against Vityaz in 2008 and Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in 2015.

Yegor Yakovlev has competed in 150 KHL regular season matches with SKA, taking 40 (16+26) points. He is also only the third defenseman to score a winning penalty shot for SKA in the KHL.

In 50 SKA matches, Vladislav Gavrikov has 14 (5+9) points.

Goalkeeper Igor Shestyorkin boasts 16 shutouts with SKA.

SKA haven't conceded a goal against Severstal in Saint Petersburg for 177 consecutive minutes.
