SKA - Severstal. Match facts

At the Saint Petersburg Ice Palace, SKA have now scored a grand total of 2113 goals in official matches. The first SKA marker at this particular stadium in a competitive game was scored by defenseman Nikolai Syrtsov on the 24th of September 2001 (SKA - Ak Bars Kazan - 1:3).

Artemiy Pleshkov made his official KHL debut for SKA. In doing so, the 20-year-old became the 24th goalkeeper to play for club in the league, and the 11th to achieve a victory in his debut appearance.

Forwards Valentin Zykov and Nikolai Polyakov both achieved personal bests from the fourth line. Zykov netted two markers in one KHL game for the first time, while this was the maiden occasion when Polyakov dished out two assists in one league match.
