- Congratulations on the victory. Why was the match so difficult?

- Thank you for congratulating us on the win, despite our poor performance. Probably, the most positive thing today is that we got the three points. We didn't have the right mindset for this match, so it was a tough game.

- You have been called up to the Russian national team. Did that give you extra motivation?

- I wouldn't say that it gave me extra motivation. When nothing is going well in the game, you want to play in a more simple manner, change the game and shoot more. It's great that my goal was the winning one and that we got the victory.

- Were you told to play more aggressively?

- Riga played and moved well. We had five minutes on the man advantage, but then we didn't order our time very successfully. It was a nervy end to the match, it could have gone to overtime. We need to prepare for Spartak Moscow, because that game won't be any easier.
