In 43 KHL matches between these teams, SKA have earned 30 victories. Dinamo Riga have consequently become the seventh club in the league to suffer a minimum of 30 defeats against SKA.

SKA have now tallied 50 victories in penalty shootouts in the KHL. 22 of those wins have been registered at home and 28 on the road. Overall, nine teams in the league have achieved a minimum of 50 shootout wins. SKA's 50 shootout triumphs have been gained against 22 different KHL opponents, with 26 players scoring winning penalty shots for our organisation.

13 out of 17 SKA goalkeepers have gained at least one shootout victory for our team. Alexander Samonov is now in third place of the ranking in terms of shootout wins (6), trailing only Ilya Ezhov (8) and Igor Shestyorkin (10).

Forward Kirill Marchenko became the first SKA player to convert eight of his maiden 10 shootout attempts.

Fellow forward Marat Khusnutdinov has scored two of his four shootout attempts so far in the 2021/2022 KHL campaign. Interestingly, when he did score, SKA lost to Vityaz Podolsk and Barys Nur-Sultan, but when he missed, our team defeated Traktor Chelyabinsk and Riga.

Defenseman Mat Robinson is the first player in the KHL to tally at least one point for both Dinamo Riga and SKA in games involving the two clubs.
