16 consecutive KHL wins is a new club record. The previous best of 15, set in the 2015/2016 season, has now been beaten. Eight have been at home, with the remaining half being earned on the road.

With goals in six matches in a row, Swedish defenseman Patrik Hersley has set a SKA record for goals in successive Russian championship and KHL games. Interestingly, all of his goals in this run have come on the powerplay.

Ilya Kovalchuk has played in more KHL regular season games than any other SKA player. He has competed in 261 matches, beating Tony Martensson's previous record of 260.

Sergei Shirokov scored SKA's 50th goal against Sibir Novosibirsk in the 18th game between these two teams. Igor Shestyorkin became the first SKA goaltender not to concede a goal in Novosibirsk.

SKA have won the past four matches against Sibir.
