Sergei Sapego speaks after beating Dinamo Minsk at home

HC SKA defenseman Sergei Sapego:

"The fact that we hadn't played since Sunday made things difficult for us, we needed time to ease ourselves into the game. Nevertheless, the main thing is that we turned the match around.

"We beat Dinamo Minsk in terms of hits 8-2 in the second stanza? A physical approach was required in order to steal the puck from the opponents. Had we been attacking, the situation would have been different.

"Are games against Minsk special, given that I used to play for them? I approach matches against them just as I do other games. However, I do go out for meals with my former teammates when they travel here to play us."
