Roman Rotenberg speaks after beating CSKA in Moscow

HC SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg:
- This was a tough match against strong opponents. It was a celebration of our sport today, the two teams displayed ice hockey of the highest level. Our guys withstood the onslaught, played with commitment and showed character. When you emerge victorious in such a competitive battle, the win is even more important. This result will provide our players with even more confidence in their own abilities.
- If someone would have told you that SKA would defeat CSKA six times in six matches, would you have believed them?
- Ice hockey is a team game which consists of many small details. It's an intellectual sport. By the way, we will go and play chess tomorrow, we want to continue developing our IQ. Thanks to our hard work both on and off the ice, we're achieving success. Nevertheless, we are only just getting started, we're preparing for the Gagarin Cup playoffs.
- It was strange to see Sergei Tolchinsky in the fourth line for this match in Moscow.
- Sergei received a lot of ice time. It doesn't matter whether you're in the first or fourth line, every player is vital. Our teamwork and incredible effort on the ice are making the difference. If we analyse our winning goal, then Artyom Zemchyonok bravely blocked a shot before skating away on the counter-attack. This is what we need!
