Roman Rotenberg speaks after playing Sochi at the Sochi Hockey Open

HC SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg:

- It was an end-to-end game. I liked how Sochi competed, they have a quick team. We engaged in a good first period, but in the second our bad habits appeared. Thankfully, after we had a thorough conversation during the second break, we subsequently improved in the third frame and scored important goals. We moved away from our game plan after the maiden 13 minutes of play.

Ivan Demidov and Matvei Michkov are continuing to impress? We can see the huge potential which Ivan possesses. As for Matvei, he's one of our leading players in terms of faceoffs won and different aspects. In order for them to display their best qualities and continue to develop, we need to have clean ice hockey. Sergei Tolchinsky is effective during penalty shootouts? Yes, he's been doing well in shootouts so far this summer.
