Roman Rotenberg has been appointed the first vice-president of the FHR

HC SKA vice-president, and a board member of the KHL Roman Rotenberg, will be responsible for the communication between the FHR and KHL in the post of the first vice-president of the FHR. This decision was made after a series of discussions during this week. Roman Rotenberg will also be in charge of the financial and marketing strategies of the Russian national team, including attracting new partners.
Roman Rotenberg:
- I’m happy to become a member of the FHR, a brand which is meaningful and important for Russian sport. It brings a lot of responsibility and interesting challenges. I am sure that a stable partnership between the FHR and KHL will lead to the national team winning more.
Being the main team of the country, the national team should set the standards, in both sport and business. Each player should feel that this is the highest level possible. At the same time it is very important that clubs and the FHR will constructively communicate together, as effective cooperation is the key to reaching all of our goals. Strong clubs make a strong national team.
I’m sure that my working experience in Saint Petersburg will help be with this responsible post. I would like to add, that this job will not prevent me from working as well with SKA – quite the opposite, as I will be able to gain more experience and to find successful decisions with new tasks.
SKA Hockey Club congratulates Roman with this new post, and wishes him luck and success!
