Roman Rotenberg and Alexander Medvedev were speakers at the SPIEF

As a part of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum, a session named “Media Sports: Phenomenon and Potential” was held on 6 June, with SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg and Chairman of the SKA Board of Directors and Chairman of the Board of FC Zenit Saint Petersburg Alexander Medvedev making speeches.

Furthermore, the Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation Mikhail Degtyaryov, member of the Federation Council and three-time Olympic champion in Greco-Roman wrestling Alexander Karelin, State Duma deputy and world boxing champion Nikolai Valuev, president Liga Stavok Yuri Krasovsky and founder of the Medialiga project Nikolay Ospipov also participated in the session.

During his particular speech, Rotenberg drew attention to the importance of the sporting media in terms of creating a healthy nation while also noting SKA's record attendance last season.
