Roman Rotenberg speaks after beating Torpedo away

HC SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg:

"First of all, I would like to congratulate everyone with the completion of the regular season! It was a long journey consisting of 68 matches.

"Today, we showed that we can compete in an organised, structured manner. We made a couple of mistakes for their goals. Furthermore, it felt as though Nizhny Novgorod had been given the task of trying to get under our skin. We responded to their provocations with goals.

"Zakhar Bardakov's penalties? I'm sure that they won't happen again when the playoffs begin. When the decisive games are being held, you have to control your emotions. How ready are we for the playoffs? 99.9%! If you analyse our performances, then you can see that we're tracking back in defence a lot better. 

"Will Alexander Nikishin be available for the start of the playoffs? We don't know yet. The same can be said for the extent of the injury suffered by Evgeny Kuznetsov. Arseniy Gritsyuk was missing? He's ill."
