Roman Cervenka: "It is not easy to play against anyone now"

- Did everything go to plan?

- Almost. We started poorly, but our goalkeeper saved us in some moments. But in the second and third periods we played a lot better, and won comfortably.

- Was the second goal at the end conceded as a result of the team switching off?

- If I’m honest I don’t even know what happened there, it was a shot from the blue line. But the main thing is that the score is 7:2 in our favour.

- You said that you have bad hands when you missed your previous penalty shot. But it turns out that you are good with your hands after all.

- Maybe it’s because of my new stick. Honestly penalty shots are difficult - the goalkeeper is always the favourite. Nevertheless in this game everything worked out.

- You grabbed a double and Artemiy Panarin scored a hat trick. At the end was there some sort of competition between you both?

- No. We pay attention only to the team’s overall result, and the main thing is that we won. Of course it’s great when you score and help the team, but the most important thing is the three points.

- Alexander Kadeikin scored his first SKA goal. How would you rate his game?

- He’s playing well. The fourth line played excellently today. It’s never easy when you don’t have that much time on the ice. If you don’t concede it’s great – and if you score it’s even better.

- SKA has already thrashed Medvescak twice this season. Can we say that this team is one of the more weaker ones?

- Every team is good, there are no outsiders. But at the same time SKA should beat everyone. We have a good team, and we are motivated to only win. It’s not easy to play against anyone now.

- After this win SKA has the same number of points as CSKA in the table. Will you wait for a mistake from them?

- No, we’re not going to look at their results. We need to pay attention to only ourselves and our game. We don’t really care how others play. Tough matches are coming up, SKA needs to show quality hockey.
