Rashit Davydov: "We need three strong goaltenders"

- I don't feel that this is a new workplace for me. I know a lot of the guys, and our coaching line-up have been working together for a long time. I have already spoken with the goalkeepers, and Igor Shestyorkin played for the national team last season. I feel comfortable, and we are helping our goalkeepers to progress.

- What can you say about SKA's goalkeepers?

- The guys are working with real desire. They are listening to us, and despite only having a handful of training sessions on the ice, I can tell that they are ready.

- Can you see that some players have been training individually during the summer?

- Yes, of course. In the last few years, players have been beginning to train when on holiday. Our task is to have our goaltenders in shape for the new campaign - we need three strong netminders. They are all working on their programs, and they have also been joined by some younger guys. Hopefully, they will be in optimal form before the tournament in Sochi. They need to be ready.
