Press conference after SKA hosted Minsk in Saint Petersburg

HC SKA head coach Igor Larionov:

"I have a bitter taste in my mouth following this match. We played well, but the score is 3:4 and we're left with no points. Our guys tried hard, they displayed their character and made it interesting for the fans in attendance. However, we have to quickly forget this game and prepare for Thursday.

"Sergei Ivanov's penalties. For the last one he simply wanted to fire the puck towards the neutral zone, but he got too much on the puck. If we're going to start pointing fingers, we won't achieve anything! 

"Matvei Korotky? There is a chance that he'll be able to face Spartak Moscow later this week."

HC Dinamo Minsk head coach Dmitry Kvartalnov:

"I'm happy with our overall performance, we displayed patience and scored our deserved winning goal in the closing stages. Our powerplay worked effectively. 

"Had we prepared in a special way for SKA after losing our preceding two games against them? No. It was a complete game from us today, we unleashed a lot of shots and created enough opportunities to win. Zach Fucale? Yes, he should have done better for two of SKA's goals. Nevertheless, he still managed to make big saves in different moments."
