Pavel Datsyuk: "We showed our character"

- It was an amazing match.

- The fans enjoyed it, but not everything went to plan. The main thing is that we showed our character, and kept on going until the end.

- When you went clean through with five seconds left, what thoughts went through your head?

- I wanted to make sure that I had enough time to shoot.

- You saved the match, but lost on penalty shots. How disappointing is it?

- We have to give credit to the opponents, they played well on the counterattack and had chances. This match will be a good lesson for us, and I would like to say thank you to the fans for their loud support.

- We don't want to blame Igor Shestyorkin, but SKA conceded four goals in as many minutes. Why did that happen?

- Let's not criticise Igor. All of their shots went in, and I would also like for my shots on goal to get past the goaltender. Nevertheless, we have to pay more attention on our special teams.
