HC SKA forward Nikita Gusev:

- SKA's powerplay didn't work today.

- Overall, we played well on the powerplay, we had opportunities. However, maybe we didn't block the goalkeeper's view enough, he saw all of our shots coming towards him. We needed to take advantage of the chances which we created.

- Have you settled well in Saint Petersburg since returning?

- The main thing is to feel good physically. Yes, I can't score yet, I'm getting used to my teammates. We are constantly trying new things on the powerplay. I think that we really need this break, so that we can begin to understand our roles on the ice. We need to work hard.

- What has changed concerning CSKA Moscow and the KHL since you last played here?

- That's a tough question. Everything has changed except CSKA, they are competing in the same manner as in the past. They are compact in their zone and don't allow you to have good looks at their net.

- You are SKA's captain.

- It's great, this means that the team has faith in me. I want to help the team win and show my best qualities.

HC SKA forward Alexander Volkov:

- We moved the puck well, but we lacked a player in front of the net. We have to work on this, and then everything will be fine.

- SKA have now lost three games on the bounce.
