Matvei Michkov will continue the season on loan with Sochi

SKA Hockey Club can reveal that forward Matvei Michkov will continue the 2023/2024 season on loan with HC Sochi.

HC SKA thanks Matvei for his efforts with our team, wishing him luck with Sochi and a subsequent successful return to Saint Petersburg!

SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg:

- I think that this is the right decision, Matvei has his whole career ahead of him and he needs to play against senior players. He will have this opportunity with Sochi. After engaging in conversations with Matvei, we reached this mutual decision that it's the best option for his career. Michkov is a player for the first two lines and the two powerplay units. We don't want to have Matvei on the sidelines, we wish him progression and we'll carefully watch his performances. We will be happy to see him in Saint Petersburg at the first opportunity. See you on the ice!
